Couples Therapy

Most couples do not come to therapy because of one disagreement. They come because the same pattern keeps taking over.

You may be having the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, shutting down, becoming defensive, or struggling to talk about important things without the conversation going somewhere neither of you intended.

I pay attention to what happens between you in real time, how each of you responds when you feel hurt or disconnected, and what may be happening underneath those reactions.

Couples therapy is not about deciding who is right. It is about helping each person understand the pattern, communicate more honestly, and respond to one another differently.

We may work on recurring conflict, communication, emotional or physical intimacy, trust, parenting differences, life transitions, or rebuilding connection after a difficult period.

I provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy and welcome couples of different identities and relationship experiences.

If you want help changing what keeps happening between you, we can begin with a complimentary 20-minute consultation.
